Matt Cardona has a lot to worry about in his professional wrestling career, so he can’t worry about what’s happening with other people.
IMPACT Wrestling’s Matt Cardona recently sat down with Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the current online controversy surrounding Sarah Logan ripping off Max The Impaler’s look, Cardona admitted that as long as people aren’t ripping him off, he doesn’t have the energy to care.
“I mean, that’s the first I’ve heard about it until you showed me the photo. I mean, there’s obviously some resemblance. Honestly, I don’t care enough [laughs],” Matt Cardona said. “If it doesn’t involve me, or Chelsea Green, or Brian Myers, or the Major Wrestling Figure Podcast, I don’t care.
“I don’t have the energy to care about the other news and gossip and rumours. Until someone comes out carrying an Internet Title. That’s when I’ll care about stuff like that. If like AEW or WWE had an Internet Title, then I’d be a little upset. But right now, I don’t care about anybody else, and if that makes me selfish, then so be it.”
With the WWE Survivor Series on the horizon, Cardona was asked to form his dream Survivor Series team to captain. Cardona ended up picking five names, so someone would have to get the boot from his dream team.
“Okay, Macho Man Randy Savage,” Matt Cardona begins. “I’m gonna go with — oh, this is a tough one. You gotta put Brian Myers on there. Let’s do a Razor Ramon. Let’s do Edge. And let’s do Dolph Ziggler. We’re all gonna be the survivors.”
