The Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans have taken the field for this AFC South showdown. After 17 weeks, it all comes down to this. Tonight’s winner will clinch the AFC South, and the No. 4 seed in the AFC.
It will again be Joshua Dobbs under center for the Titans, as the former University of Tennessee star proved to Mike Vrabel that he can be more effective than rookie Malik Willis when it comes to moving the ball down the field. He will have Derrick Henry to work through this week, who has historically fared well against his hometown team. The star running back has averaged 105.3 rushing yards per game in 12 career contests vs. the Jags.
The Jaguars could become the first team since the 2013 Kansas City Chiefs to reach the playoffs after selecting first overall in the draft. Trevor Lawrence is starting to look like the franchise quarterback many believed he would be coming out of Clemson, as he’s thrown 14 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions over the past eight contests. He threw for 368 yards and scored four total touchdowns against the Titans earlier this year. What happens in the regular-season finale?
Will the Titans rise to the occasion and win the division for the third straight year, or will the Jaguars finish off this strong late-season run with an AFC South crown? Follow along in the live blog below, as we break down this matchup as it happens.
